About me

With almost 30 years of experience in teaching both yoga and fitness, my professional journey has been driven by my interest in health and wellbeing along with a fascination in the mind-body connection. This was deepened by witnessing a couple of people close to me struggle with mental health, which subsequently affected their general health. I also had to navigate some challenging times myself following the unexpected loss of my husband. These experiences compelled me to delve further into the workings of the brain and the complexities of the human mind.

This curiosity in the workings of the mind, combined with my passion for health and wellbeing led me to studying and teaching meditation and mindfulness. These paved the way for me to train as a solution focused hypnotherapist. My formal training took place under the guidance of Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), the Gold Standard in hypnotherapy training. where I earned my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Additionally, I achieved the prestigious Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, awarded by the National Council for Hypnotherapy. I count myself very lucky to be able to have such a rewarding career where I see the positive effects my therapy can have on someone’s life.

Committed to professionalism and client well-being, I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check. I proudly hold memberships with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH), the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Adhering unwaveringly to their stringent Codes of Conduct, Performance, and Ethics, I am dedicated to providing the highest standards of care and support.
